Products
What does "sugar-free" mean? Do they contain sweeteners?
Our "sugar-free" spreads contain no added sugars and no artificial sweeteners (only naturally occurring sugars). We use natural ingredients such as nuts, legume flour, cocoa and inulin (chicory fiber) to keep a natural, genuine touch of sweetness.
Are the spreads suitable for people with celiac disease? Are they gluten-free?
Our spreads are gluten-free and therefore suitable for people with celiac disease. However, please check the ingredient list and allergen warnings on the label of each product, as the composition may vary by flavor. For specific information, you can write to us at info@vasetto.it.
How many calories does each spread have?
The full nutritional values, including calories per 100g and per serving, are shown on the label of each product. You can also find them on the product pages of our website in the “Spreads” section.
Do the protein spreads contain whey or are they 100% vegan?
All Vasetto spreads, including the protein versions, are 100% vegan. They contain no whey or animal-derived ingredients.
How should I store it after opening?
After opening, store the jar at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct light. No refrigeration is needed.
I found white dots or spots in the spread: is that normal?
Yes, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. White dots or spots are caused by the natural solidification of cocoa butter due to temperature changes. It is a normal phenomenon in products without preservatives or stabilizers.
You can easily check this: cocoa butter melts immediately when it comes into contact with heat.
This happens because our spreads are natural and react to temperature changes, for example during transport or storage.
To bring the spread back to its original texture, you can:

warm it in the microwave for about 30 seconds (1–2 times)

or leave it for 10–15 minutes near a heat source (such as a radiator)

stir vigorously
The spread will be perfectly creamy again.
Also, since it is an anhydrous product (without water, milk or liquids), it cannot develop mold or spoil easily. The date shown is a "best before" date, not a strict expiry date.
Are the hazelnuts Italian or of certified origin?
We only use carefully selected raw ingredients, and we only use Piedmont PGI hazelnuts.
What kind of cocoa do you use in Vasetto spreads?
We use 100% pure cocoa mass, not chocolate. This means there are no added ingredients that alter its percentage or intensity. The cocoa comes from selected raw materials, mainly from Venezuela, Ecuador and Peru, ensuring an intense, authentic taste.
Diet & Allergies
Are the spreads suitable for people with lactose intolerance?
Yes! All Vasetto spreads are lactose-free and completely vegan, so they are also suitable for people with lactose intolerance.
Do they contain traces of nuts?
Nuts are one of the main ingredients of our spreads. However, for people with nut allergies, we also offer an alternative made from legumes and cocoa, with no nuts. Please read the label of each product carefully for full allergen warnings.
Can people with diabetes eat them?
The "sugar-free" versions of our spreads contain no added sugars and are made with selected ingredients such as nuts or legume flour, cocoa and inulin (chicory fiber). However, we cannot provide medical or dietary advice. We always recommend checking the ingredient list and nutritional values on the label and, if you have diabetes or specific needs, consulting your doctor or nutritionist before consuming them. Many customers with particular dietary needs choose our sugar-free spreads, but the final assessment must always be personal and made by a qualified professional.
Can I eat them on a low-calorie diet?
Our sugar-free and protein spreads are designed for anyone who wants to enjoy an authentic taste without compromise. However, we recommend checking the nutritional values on the label and, if you are following a specific meal plan, talking to your nutritionist.

Where are the spreads made?
Vasetto spreads are made at Cioccolato Puro, based in Pinerolo (TO), Piedmont. A company with over 30 years of experience in working with chocolate.

Vasetto is a project created by the master chocolatiers of Cioccolato Puro, based in Pinerolo (TO) — a production facility with over 30 years of experience. The same care and quality they put into their chocolate can be found in every jar of spread.
